Remember Who God Is – The Foundation of God's Purpose for You
Problem:
Do you, like many women over 40, feel disconnected from your identity and purpose? Life's transitions—like becoming an empty nester, retiring, or facing new emotional challenges—can lead to spiritual disorientation. In these seasons, we often forget the source of our identity.
Without clarity about who God is, it's difficult to understand who you are. If your foundation is shaky, you may feel purposeless, discouraged, or disconnected from God's plan. The world will try to redefine your worth by your productivity or appearance, but God's Word tells a different story.
Solution:
Start by remembering who God is. Genesis 1:1 reminds us, "In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth." He is Creator, Redeemer, Father. Isaiah 44:6 tells us, "I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God." Your purpose flows from this truth. You are a chosen generation (1 Peter 2:9), designed to reflect His light in the world.
